- Page 5 USING THE COFFEE MAKER Fill the coffeemaker glass carafe with cold water. Lift open the tank lid and pour the water into the Coffeemaker Water Tank. Swing open the filter compartment, remove the reusable filter and fill with ground coffee. Place the reusable filter back into the swing- out basket and carefully push it closed until it snaps into place.
