Page 4: Chapter 1 Introduction
This document provides operating instructions for configuring and using the GPS Tracker device. Note that the GPS Tracker comes with preset settings which allows one to start using the GPS Tracker by simply inserting a SIM card and powering up the device. To get up and running quickly, please refer to the Quick Start Guide. -

Use the GPS Tracker to easily track loved ones without the need of a PC. Press and hold the Help button for three seconds to send a "help" announcement to others Using the one of the preset buttons, the GPS Tracker allows you to broadcast a "help" announcement to others. - Page 6 SOS Panic Button for Personal Security Press and hold the red SOS button for three seconds and the GPS Tracker will call a pre-programmed number (e.g., 112 in Europe, 911 in the USA, or any pre-programmed number) if the user enables this function.
- Page 7 Stolen Vehicle Recovery Device The GPS Tracker can help police track and recover a vehicle if it gets stolen by acting as a transmitter in the vehicle. GPS Position Trace Log on a PC By enabling the Trace Logging feature, the GPS Tracker will record its position to a flash card at periodic intervals, allowing the user to download the device’s GPS position history.
- Page 8 Speed Alert Set a speed limit for the GPS Tracker and receive a notification every time the device travels faster than the defined speed. 2.2.2 Installation The PC Configuration Tool is a Windows program that allows you to change the setting of the GPS Tracker. Page 14: Charging The Gps Tracker
Tracker has been moved to another state or country since the last time it was used. If there is no satellite signal or movement detected for a long period of time, the GPS Tracker will enter power saving mode as defined by the power saving parameter set using the PC Configuration Tool. -
Page 15: Chapter4 Using The Pc Configuration Tool
Configuration Tool and Trace Log Tool. The Configuration Tool allows the user to do simple or advanced settings depending on application requirements. If GPS logging function is enabled in Configuration Tool, the data log from GPS Tracker can be downloaded via the Trace Log Tool enabling the user to view the trace log on Google Earth. - Page 16 The configuration settings of GPS Tracker are simple. The user can enter 1 to 3 phone numbers allowing the user to make calls with the GPS Tracker to these pre-set numbers. Press the Finish button to start using this product. For other applications and settings, use Advance setting button to configure the GPS Tracker further.
- Page 17 Location permission allows other phones to get a location message from the GPS Tracker. The default setting is that the GPS Tracker can receive calls from anyone. The user is free to limit the GPS Tracker to receive calls only from those numbers entered in the column provided in the Location Permission interface.
- Page 18 The SOS button is designed to provide users of the GPS Tracker an easy and convenient way to call for help when necessary. The default number is the international emergency number, 112. However, the user can enter the emergency call number for their respective country.
- Page 19 Enabling the Surveillance permission function will allow others (anyone or pre-entered numbers) to call the GPS Tracker and get the GPS Tracker to answer a call automatically without activating a ringing sound. The caller can then listen to the audio environment without the holder of GPS Tracker or any people around GPS Tracker.
- Page 20 The GPS Tracker is capable of making calls to up to three pre-entered phone numbers. A user just needs to press any of the three phone buttons and the GPS Tracker will make a call to the corresponding number. The Outgoing calls function can be disabled if it is not necessary for a user’s application.

GPS Tracker cannot receive a GPS signal. An open view to the sky is required. If using the GPS Tracker device for the first time, it may longer than normal. I pressed the preset dial (#1, #2, #3) button but nothing happens Preset numbers must be entered using the Configuration Tool program. - Page 26 I cannot use Park function. Make sure the Park feature is enabled. Help/Assistance key doesn't work. Make sure Help function is enabled and the help preset phone numbers are entered correctly in the contact list. I cannot dial in the device and use it as a phone. Make sure the Direct Call feature is enabled.
