    Radio operation 1. Extend the antenna out the full length for best reception. 2. Press RADIO ON-OFF button to turn on the radio. 3. Press BAND AM/FM button to change between AM and FM frequencies. 4. Press either the TUNING Å@ or to manually tune up or down.

    Weather Forecast The outside remote unit measures temperature. It transmits this information to the main unit every 3 minutes. The main unit measures atmospheric pressure and needs 24 hours of continuous change in atmospheric pressure data to obtain a weather forecast and it's tendency. After 24 hours of computation the unit can forecast the weather for the next 6 hours.
  • Page 8 The main unit records the maximum and minimum inside and outside temperatures the unit has received. Press TEMP/MAX/MIN button to display the inside temperature MAX and MIN temperatures. Press TEMP/MAX/MIN button again to display the outside temperature MAX and MIN temperatures. The normal display will be restored in 5 seconds if button is not pressed again.

    Resetting the unit Press the RESET button of either the main unit or the remote unit when either does not operate normally. Temperature sensing backlight The main unit LCD has an Always-On backlight if the AC/DC adaptor is plugged in. The backlight color will change depending on the outside temperature.
