Your remote control may not be working due to several reasons:
If your remote control is not working even with new batteries, consider the following:
To reset your remote control, push the RESET button with a fine-tipped tool. This button is used after batteries are replaced or the slide switch is switched.
To pair your remote control with an air conditioner, you need to match the address setting on the remote with the address switch setting in the signal receiving part of the indoor unit. Up to 6 indoor units can be controlled independently this way.
To open the battery compartment, slide the cover downward while holding both sides of the cover.
To switch between different operating modes, push the Mode select button (labeled with a symbol that looks like a cycle arrow). You can select Auto, Heat, Dry, Cool, or Fan by pushing this button.
When a trouble occurs, a check code is displayed in the Timer time display area on your remote. Additionally, if the LEDs on the signal receiving part flash, it indicates an issue. The meaning of the flashing LEDs depends on the pattern:
To set or cancel a timer function:
Push the Timer button once. The timer symbol and time will flash on the display.
Set the desired time using the TIME ▲ or TIME ▼ buttons. The setup time increases or decreases by 0.5 hours, with a maximum of 72.0 hours and a minimum of 0.5 hours.
Push the Timer button again. The timer symbol and time will stop flashing.
Push the Timer button twice. The timer symbol and time will flash on the display.
Set the desired time using the TIME ▲ or TIME ▼ buttons.
Push the Timer button again. The timer symbol and time will stop flashing.
Push the Timer button three times. The timer symbol and time will flash on the display.
Set the desired time using the TIME ▲ or TIME ▼ buttons.
Push the Timer button again. The operation mode will disappear, and the timer symbol and time will stop flashing.
The display screen on your remote control may be blank or dim because the batteries are exhausted. You should replace the batteries.
