    SAFETY PRECAUTIONS If this warning is ignored, it could result in death, serious injuries or damage to property. DO NOT run the engine in an unventilated area. DO NOT store, spill or use petrol near any ignition source, including unshielded flames or near furnaces or water heaters that have permanent flames or which could produce sparks.

    THE ROPE GRAB It is normally not necessary to remove the rope grab for inspection unless it has been exposed to abnormally dusty or dirty environment. However, in case it should be necessary to clean the machine and its rope grab, please observe the following instructions: The rope grab can be demounted and replaced only together with the drive shaft.

    ENGINE WARRANTY Act Safe Systems AB is pleased to assume warranty obligations and apologies for the trouble caused to you. All authorised dealers are also entitled carry out warranty repairs. In most cases it only concerns routine repairs, however, sometimes warranty claims are not justified. For instance, warranty is deemed void if engine defects are caused by misuse, incorrect maintenance, transport, handling, storage or installation.

    The warranty is not valid if the ActSafe PME has damages caused by accident, carelessness or if the ascender has been used outside its purposed range. ActSafe can not be held responsible for direct or indirect consequences caused by the use of this ActSafe product.

    WARNING! The ActSafe PME should only be used so that the rope has an anchor point straight above the position of the user. The anchor point has to withstand a force of at least 15kN. The method, together with the machine and product knowledge, demands trained personnel. Immediately before use, the user shall: make a visual inspection of the ActSafe PME and all the components in the working system like ropes, karabiners and descending device etc to ensure that it is in a serviceable condition and will operate correctly.
