Q: When the target drive is larger than the master, what happens to free space on the target drive after duplication? A: The KD25/35PRO copies partitions as well. If the master drive is 40GB and the target is 80GB, it copies 40GB of data, and the target drive will have 40 GB of free space remaining.
  • Page 18 Q: Can I use an internal hard drive for copy? A: You need to remove the drive from your PC first and then connect it directly to the KD25/35PRO in order to be able to copy it. Q: My source drive has very little used space. Can I copy it to a smaller target drive? A: Yes, but you may not be able to copy all the data, because the operation stops after reaching the capacity of the target drive.
