Tip #9: ADDing A CV ViDeO ALeRT
Your customers can set their phones to
receive alerts when new media – such as a
breaking news report – is available to
download. From the Home screen, select
start > CV and press the navigation
Joystick. Scroll to Customize CV and
press the navigation Joystick. From the
Customize CV – Options listing, highlight my Video Alerts
and press the navigation Joystick. Move to the Add to my
Alerts section and highlight the desired service, for example,
Breaking News, then press the navigation Joystick. Press
the menu soft Key. Highlight Add to Favorites and press
the navigation Joystick. Enter a name for the alert in the
Name field and press the Add soft Key.
Tip #10: pLAying musiC ThROugh A bLueTOOTh
sTeReO DeViCe
The phone supports the A2DP stereo
Bluetooth
profile, which means your

customers can play their music in stereo
through a stereo Bluetooth
headset. After
®
pairing the phone with a stereo Bluetooth
®
device, select start > AT&T music >
windows media. Press menu > Library
> my music. Select All music and select a song to open
the folder. Press the navigation Joystick to pause or play
the songs.
Tip #11: iDenTiFying A sOng wiTh musiCiD
The Samsung Propel™ Pro has a feature
that enables your customers to identify a
song on the radio, in the mall – anywhere.
From the Home screen, select start >
AT&T music > musiciD and press the
navigation Joystick. Highlight iD song
and press the navigation Joystick. Place
the handset's microphone near the music source. When a song
match is found, the screen displays the Artist, Name, Track,
Title, and Album Cover Art.

Tip #12: seTTing A VOiCe nOTe As A RingTOne
Your customers have the option of recording a voice note and
using this as a ringtone. From the Home screen, select start
> Organizer > Voice notes > menu > Record. Record the
message, and press the stop soft Key when done. Press the
menu soft Key and select set as Ringtone, then OK.
Tip #13: seT up shORTCuT FAVORiTes
Customers can set their own shortcuts by assigning
applications to the Fn key shortcuts. To do this, go to start >
settings > more > Key settings > Fn Key settings, then
click show List. This shows the list of default shortcuts. To
add a shortcut, choose menu > Add and press Done. To use
the newly assigned shortcut, from the Home screen, hold the
Fn Key and press the assigned letter.
Tip #14: TuRn OFF bACKLighT
®
To turn off the backlight, press and hold the messaging Key.
Tip #15: QuiCKLy LOCK DeViCe
To quickly lock the device, hold the end Key.
Tip #16: siLenCe An inCOming CALL
To silence an incoming call, hit the Volume Key.
Tip #17: QuiCKLy ChAnge pROFiLes
The quickest way to change profiles is to hold the silent Key
to put the phone into Silent mode or quickly press the power
button, and choose your profile.
Tip #18: TuRn On The speAKeRphOne whiLe On
A CALL
The best way to turn on the speakerphone while on a call is to
press menu > Turn on speakerphone.
Tip #19: shORTCuT TO use The CAmeRA ZOOm
To zoom in or out while in camera mode, press the Volume
