Red Alarm Indicator Light
If a dangerous level of carbon monox-
ide is detected by your Kidde alarm,
the red alarm LED will ash on and o
continuously and a loud (85decibel)
alarm will sound.
Green Operate Light
The green light ashing every 30 sec-
onds indicates the unit is functioning
properly. The green light will ash
before a CO reading is taken and when
any button is pressed. If the unit
chirps once every 30 seconds, observe the unit for the following:
A chirp every 30 seconds, with a green LED ash followed by a
red LED ash, indicates the batteries are low. Follow the battery
installation/replacement instructions.
A chirp every 30 seconds, with a red ash and no green LED
ash indicates a unit error.
