Noise Cancelation – What to expect:
Able Planet Noise Canceling headphones sample
the exterior noise and the circuitry will suppress
the noise as it is transmitted via the internal
speakers/headphones. What could be heard
without a source being played is the active noise
canceling attempting to suppress background
noise. When no signal is present (a song being
played) the NC circuitry will generate a minimal
amount of white noise. However, once a signal is
engaged,
this
noise
should
be
completely
eliminated and all that should be heard is music or
the audio source.
Sensitivity at 1kHz is 115dB (Off); 121dB (On)
Frequency Response: 20hz to 20kHz

I had been using AblelPlanet headphones and which I believe are the NC 190B foldable, 1200-1600, and while using them on an imac OS I never had any problems with the sound quality even though there was not a battery in the battery compartment. However I have now switched to using a mac mini with these same headphones and the sound quality has become very low and not adjustable. After placing a battery in the compartment, the sound is now normal but, however, is very statickey. What else can I do to clear up the sound quality on these headphone. Thank you

To improve the sound quality of Able Planet LINX AUDIO NC200 headphones when used with a Mac Mini, ensure that active noise canceling (NC) is turned on, as it enhances sound clarity and reduces background noise. Additionally, adjusting the volume to a moderate level can help take advantage of the LINX AUDIO technology, which enhances high-frequency harmonics and improves sound perception at lower volumes. If using a wired connection, ensure the cord is properly connected to the left ear cup for optimal audio transmission.
