    Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, and use common sense when oper- ating a Paper Shredder. Do not use a Paper Shredder while tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while operating Paper Shredders may result in serious personal injury.
  • Page 4 Do not force the Paper Shredders. Allow the Shredder to work at its own speed. Do not use the Paper Shredder if the Power Switch does not turn it on or off. Any Paper Shredder that cannot be controlled with the Power Switch is dangerous and must be replaced.

    Avoid unintentional starting. Make sure you are prepared to begin work before turning on the Paper Shredder. Do not force the Paper Shredder. This Paper Shredder has a two minute on, 15 minute off cycle. If it is not observed, it may overheat or blow the fuse. Also, observe the one sheet maximum.

    INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE, AND CLEANING WARNING! Make sure the Power Switch of the Paper Shredder is in its “OFF” position, that the batteries are removed, and that the unit is unplugged from its electrical outlet before performing any inspection, maintenance, or clean- ing procedures.
