Gravity Drainfield

Description:
A gravity drainfield consists of a network of pipes under ground. Effluent flows
the pipes by gravity and a distribution box is used to split the flow evenly b
multiple lines. The effluent flows out the bottom of the pipes through a series
small holes. It then it moves down to the bottom of the trench

riginal soil.
Function:
A gravity drainfield disposes of effluent by allowing it to absorb into the
underlying soil. The soil provides an oxygen-rich surface area for treatment
