    Operating the appliance Operating the appliance ATTENTION! Each time, before switching on the appli- ance make sure that the burner crown and burner cover are lying straight on the burn- er body. If the burner crown and the burner cover are not on straight, the gas flame will not burn evenly and this can cause damage to the burner.

    Operating the appliance Switching the appliance on and off 1. Turn the ring switch to the left to maxi- mum power 2. Press the ring switch in firmly, until the gas has ignited. After a successful ignition hold the ring switch depressed for about 5 sec- onds.

    Cleaning and Care Cleaning and Care Warning: During cleaning the burners must be switched off. Ensure that the hob has cooled down sufficiently so that you can touch all parts safely. Important: Sharp objects and abrasive cleaning materials will damage the ap- pliance.
  • Page 12 Cleaning and Care Removable Frontline strip The aluminium Frontline strip fastens on by means of magnets. It is easy to re- move by hand and can be cleaned with detergent. Please do not use any scour- ing agents or sponges that scratch. Do not clean the strip in the dishwasher.
