Tap the OK button to save your selections and return to the Route menu. Tap the
Next button to display the second Road Type screen.
4.6.3 Route Modes Screen
The second Road Type screen, lets you select from the following route types:
Vehicle-Quickest – Instructs the GPS to generate the quickest route when
generating a route to a selected location.
Vehicle-Shortest – Instructs the GPS to generate the shortest route, which may not
be the quickest.
Pedestrian – Instructs the GPS to generate a route suitable for a pedestrian. The
following rules apply to Pedestrian routes:
Generates a route up to ten kilometers (approximately 6 miles), which is not limited
by vehicle constraints, such as one way streets.
When creating a pedestrian route, the GPS avoids highways or other roads where
pedestrians would not travel.
Voice prompts are deactivated in this mode.
4.7 Create Detour
4.7.1 Create Detour Menu Button
From the Route menu, tap the Create Detour button to display the Detour screen.
