    ❑ Only set hot basket on a thermally protected surface. ❑ A fire may occur if fryer is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, draperies, walls and the like, when in operation. Do not store any item on top of the appliance when in operation.

    As a safety feature, this product is equipped with a grounded plug, which will only fit into a three-prong outlet. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. Improper connection of the grounding conductor may result in the risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded.

    . Lift left side of basket first; then pull basket to the left to remove square prong from the right side of the fryer. Lift basket up and out of the appliance. Note: It may be necessary to use your other hand, covered by a pot holder, to help remove the basket from the appliance.

    Note: Unplug and allow the fryer to cool completely before cleaning. . After each frying cycle, slide the crumb tray out from under the front of the fryer and wipe with a damp cloth to remove any crumbs; dry thoroughly before replacing.
