Special Safety Instructions for this Appliance
WARNING! DELAYED BOILING! During boiling, in particular when liquids
(water) are re-heated, it is possible that the boiling temperature has been rea-
ched but some of the typical bubbles of steam have not yet started to rise. The
liquid does not boil evenly. This so-called delayed boiling may lead to the sud-
den formation of bubbles of steam and boiling over when the vessel is removed
and slightly shaken. There is a danger of scalding! So that boiling is even, place
a glass rod or the like - but nothing metal - into the vessel.
Never use metal tableware or tableware containing metal parts (e.g. golden
edges or wire clips) in the microwave. This will damage the appliance.
Always use the microwave oven with the turntable and the roller ring.
Never operate the appliance when the oven is empty.
If the door frame or seal or neighbouring parts are damaged, the appliance may
not be used until repaired by a service technician.
Servicing work or any repair work may only be carried out by a service technici-
an trained by the manufacturer.
If smoke forms in the appliance, keep the door closed and switch the appliance
off and disconnect it from the power supply.
