Part 1 - INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1 - GENERAL This hood is constructed ready for installation in the bottom part of an overhead unit fixed above a cooker and fastened to a wall. It can be used either in the ducting version (evacuation of air to the outside) or in the filter version (internal recirculation of air). -

If the base is pre-drilled and suitable to take the hood, it will be sufficient to screw the hood onto it using the four 4.2 x 44.5 mm screws provided. If the base is not pre-drilled the hood must be correctly positioned and screwed into place from the inside outward, using 3.5 x 16 mm screws. -

2 - If the hood does not have a plug, it can be connected by means of a special earthed connection. Always comply with the warnings given in points 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5 of the safety instructions. 3 - Once the electrical connection has been completed, check that the worktop illumination, motor and speeds work properly. -
