Set locks and timers

Clock
You can display a clock on the TV. The clock
displays the time that is broadcast by your
TV service operator.
Display the TV clock
1. While you watch TV, press
The clock is displayed on the bottom left of
the TV screen.
Sleep timer
You can switch the TV to standby after a
specified time. During the countdown to the
specified time, you can switch off your TV
earlier or reset the sleep timer.
1. Press .
2. Select [Setup], then press OK.
3. Select [Setting] > [Sleep Timer].
4. Select the sleep timer duration.
The sleep timer can be set up for to 180
minutes. To switch off the sleep timer, select
[Off].
5. Press OK to activate the sleep timer.
After the specified time, the TV switches to
standby.
Child lock
To protect children from unsuitable TV
programs, you can lock the TV or block age
rated programs.
Switch on Parental Control
1. Press .
2. Select [Setup], then press OK.
3. Select [Parental], then press OK.
4. Enter the code with the Numeric
buttons.
If you access the child lock menu for the first
time, enter '0000'.
5. Select [Parental Control] > [On], then
press OK.
Set or change the child lock code
1. Press .
2. Select [Setup], then press OK.
3. Select [Parental], then press OK.
4. Enter the code with the Numeric
buttons.
If you access the child lock menu for the first
time, enter '0000'.
5. Select [Change Pwd], follow the onscreen
instructions to enter the new password, and
then re-enter the password to confirm.
Tip: If you forget your code, enter '8888' to
override any existing codes.
Block channels
INFO.
1. Press .
2. Select [Setup], then press OK.
3. Select [Parental], then press OK
4. Enter the code with the Numeric
buttons.
5. Select [Channel Block], then press OK.
The channel list is displayed.
6. Select the channels to block, then press
OK.
7. Restart the TV to activate the lock.
Note:
If you access the channels from the channel
list, you are prompted to enter your lock
code.
Age rating
You can set your TV to display only
programs with age ratings lower than your
child's age. This restriction only applies to
digital channels from broadcasters that rate
their programs according to age.
1. Press .
2. Select [Setup], then press OK.
3. Select [Parental], then press OK.
4. Enter the code with the Numeric
buttons.
5. Select [Digital Rating] and an age rating,
then press OK.
All programs above the selected age rating
are blocked.
