POSSIBLE CAUSE
Chemicals
such as hair bleach, dye, permanent wave solutions, battery acids and
toilet bowl cleaners may cause fabric holes. Rinse dl towels and other articles
that came in contact with these chemicals before putting them in wash. Do not
contaminate clothing articles with these chemicals.
Small, unnoticed tears may enlarge during washing process. Check garments before
washing and mend all rips and tears.
As Permanent Press garments age, they may show fraying at collars and cuffs. This
normal due to weakening of fibers by the Permanent Press process. It is not caused
is
by washer. You can slow this process by washing small Permanent Press loads with
a Large Water Level. Do not wash heavy items such as towels with Permanent Press.
Remove collar stays, when possible.
Roughness or burrs on agitator may cause rips or tears. Check agitator and file rough
spots if necessary.
May be caused by the use of Regulm Cycles for delicate articles. Use Permanent Press
Cycle. Refer to Garment Manufacturer's Care Labels,
Garments weakened by age, sun or atmosphere. This is inevitable and is not caused
by washer.
