Connecting RAA-5 External Antenna

To iWAY™ Automotive GPS units

This instruction sheet explains the proper method for connecting the

RAA-5 external antenna to iWAY™ automotive GPS units. The external

antenna is an optional accessory sold separately from the iWAY unit.

While the iWAY has a built-in antenna, the external antenna is avail-

able for installations where satellite reception is poor. The external an-

tenna was designed to work specifically with iWAY automotive GPS

units.

Caution:

If you do not connect the external antenna to your iWAY cor-

rectly it could prevent the unit from successfully receiving satel-

lite signals with the external antenna.

The RAA-5 external antenna for the iWAY 250c and 350c automotive

GPS units. The GPS antenna module can be mounted to any flat sur-

face. The magnetic back allows the antenna module to be used on most

steel surfaces or you can peel back the liner and "stick" it to a selected

ule and "stick" it to a selected surface.

The antenna cable has a male connector which attaches directly to the

iWAY unit. It is not necessary to configure the iWAY once the antenna

is attached. The iWAY will "read" the external antenna and should be-

unit.
