my C85183 light will not come on. I've changed the batteries and it still does not come on
If the light on your La Crosse Technology C85183 will not turn on after changing the batteries, ensure the clock is connected to A/C power. The backlight is only displayed constantly when using the A/C adapter, unless it is manually turned off. The batteries provide backup power but do not power the backlight.
