For example, do not use near a bathtub, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, and the like. WARNING – To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.

Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

    It is a good idea to save the carton and original packing should you ever need to ship your Model CD, as shipping damage is not covered under the factory warranty.   • Page 6 Guide to Features (Front panel): Note the playback functions are duplicated on the included remote control. 1. POWER: Push to turn the Model CD on. The power LED will illuminate. Push again to turn the Model CD off. The LED will extinguish.
  • Page 7 12VDC nominal, 1A fused source may also be used. Helpful advice: • A void moving the Model CD while a CD is playing inside to prevent possible damage to the CD or player. It is further recommended you do not ship the Model CD with a CD inside. • D o not insert a CD if one is already inside the player. • D o not insert CDs that are warped or cracked. • I n the unlikely event a CD becomes jammed inside the player, contact your dealer. Attempting to extract the CD yourself will void your warranty and could damage the Model CD.

    0 (Mute) to 63. Although CD levels vary, we recommend level 36. These buttons also control the volume level of headphones (not included) connected to the Model CD. 6. REPEAT: Press once to repeat the track playing. A “1” will appear in the upper right corner of the display.
  • Page 9 The Model CD features excellent anti-skipping protection, but it is not skip proof. Place the Model CD on a flat, level surface that is not subject to vibration. Should the Model CD affect radio reception of your Tivoli Audio radio or other equipment, move the Model CD further away from the unit or keep the Model CD turned off when listening to the radio.
