Installation Setup Connect Composite RCA or S-Video cable to the converter and then to the TV. Take note of the name of the connection that is labeled on your TV (AV1, AV2) as this will be used later. Connect the VGA (15-pin) for video and USB for power.

Press and hold “FN” and press the correct key for your laptop to output a signal. You should then see your laptop screen on your TV. Windows 7 uses the “Windows logo” and “P” pressed at the same time.

I cannot locate my computer hotkeys. Each laptop should have hotkeys. Windows 7 has a default of the “Windows key” and “P”. The most common hotkeys for the VGA connection are F4, F5, and F8. Otherwise, check in your computer user manual or contact your computer manufacturer to locate them.

I can’t hear anything on the TV! This converter does not process audio, and sound will play from your computer speakers. If you would like to get audio on the TV you can purchase a separate audio cable like the SW- 7921.

The TV screen is still black… First, double check all the connections. Make sure you have both the 15 pin VGA and the USB connected to the computer. Make sure your TV is on the correct input. Verify that your screen resolution is one supported by the converter.
