Turn
OFF
and
unplug
unit.
Tools Needed:

Spool

Cutwelding
wire off atcontacttube.

Retract wire
onto
spool
and
se
cure.

Loosen knob and
remove
gun
and
trigger plug.

Liner
Collet
Disassemble gun
as
shown.

Liner
Pull liner from this end. Blow gun
casing
out with
compressed
air.
Insert
new
liner
into gun
casing
until
even
with end of head tube.

Install collet onto liner.
Install
contact
tube and nozzle.
Insert
gun
into feeder and mark
where liner touches drive roll. Re
move
gun and
cut
liner oft. Rein
stall gun
so
that liner is
as
close
as
possible
to
drive
rolls
without
touching.
Thread
welding
wire
(see
Section
2-6).
Close door.

Motor fuse

replace
fuse.
Replace building
line
fuse

reset circuit
breaker
if
open.
Secure gun
trigger plug
In
receptacle
or
repair
leads,
or
replace
trigger
switch.

(overheating).
Allow fan
to
run;
the thermo
stat closes when the unit has cooled.
No weld
output;
wire feeds.

Connect work
clamp
to
get good
metal
to metal contact
Replace
contact tube.
