    Automatic Defrosting With the Auto Defrost feature, the oven automatically sets the defrosting time and power levels for you. You choose the appropriate code number from 1 to 6 for the food you are defrosting, then enter the food weight in pounds and tenths of a pound (See Conversion Guide below) and touch START.

    Be sure bulbs to be replaced are cool before removing. Remove bulbs and replace with 40-watt incandescent bulbs (WB2X4253) available from your GE supplier. Raise lamp cover and replace screws that were removed. Connect electrical power to microwave oven.
  • Page 16 Remove bulb and replace with 30-watt incandescent bulb (WB2X4235) available from your GE supplier. Secure lamp housing with screw. Clean off the grease and dust on hood surfaces often. Use a warm detergent solution. About 1 tablespoon of ammonia maybe added to the water.
  • Page 17 To replace grease filter, slide the filter in the ~rame slot on the back of the opening. Pull filter upward and to the front to lock into place. To remove the charcoal filter, disconnect power at main fuse or circuit breaker or pull plug. Remove the top grill by taking off 3 screws which hold it in place.
