DAVIS 16-CHANNEL AUDIO MONO/STEREO MIXER
Model DMC-16 Mixer
The DMC-16 Console Mixer offers professional performance at a practical price. It serves equally well for either
live or recording events, allowing the production of audio tailored to the taste of both the performer and the
listener. Up to 16 channels are available for mono, or 4 stereo and 8 mono channels. Each channel's volume
and frequency range may be adjusted to achieve the precise output desired. In addition, inputs from tapes,
voices and/or musical instruments may be overlayed and mixed to create completely new program material.
Smooth channel slide faders are provided to allow seamless volume control of individual inputs. Frequency
equalization is provided by lower, mid and high range bands ranging from 80 Hz to 12k Hz with the mid range
peaking response fixed at 2 octaves and the frequency at 2.5k Hz.
The highly flexible DMC-16 also has 8 channel "insert"
inputs for devices such as expander/limiters and sound
effects processors that allow the signal to be modified
prior to its entering the primary mixer functions.
Total program control is afforded by the master mix, control
room and headphone outputs. Constant monitoring is
available through the accurate 10-segment LED meters
located on the face of the console.
A detailed User's Manual gives step-by-step guidance for
realizing the multitude of potential applications such as the combination illustrated above. Rack mounting hard-
ware is included.
