CAPABILITIES CAPABILITIES GENERAL Audio is recorded onto a removable microSD card. The flash memory card compatible with the voice recorder is microSDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity). For correct and proper functioning of the voice recorder, use microSD cards, Speed Class 6 or higher.

GETTING STARTED GETTING STARTED INSERTING MEMORY CARD If you want to save the recorded data onto the external memory, you should insert a memory card. The memory card slot is located at the left side panel of the voice recorder, marked with the label covered with protective shield marked SD.
GETTING STARTED CONNECTING THE RECORDER TO EXTERNAL DEVICES To connect the voice recorder to external devices, use the following jacks: USB – mini-USB jack for connection to a computer; OUT – 3.5 mm headphone jack; IN – ten-needle jack for microphone garniture, line input cable or adaptor for recording from telephone line.

DISPLAY STATUS INDICATION DISPLAY STATUS INDICATION DISPLAY VIEW WHEN RECORDER IS ON The display shows the recorder’s statuses, represented in the form of icons, indicators and mes- sages. DISPLAY STATUS INDICATION 2nd SCREEN LINE The 2nd screen line displays current date and time. 3d-4th SCREEN LINES The 3rd line displays RECORDER, current recording duration or playback time. The 4th line displays the current file name. 5th SCREEN LINE The 5th screen line displays the recording format and mode and the sample rate.

DISPLAY STATUS INDICATION 10th SCREEN LINE The 10th line displays the amplification level in decibels (dB) for the left and right channels. The manual adjustment range is 0 to +59 dB. The yellow frame marks the manual adjustment indication. You can choose only left, only right or both channels. For that, use the buttons.
RECORDING RECORDING Before starting to record, verify that the recorder is ready, checking that audio signal sources, batteries and memory card are connected and then do the following. Switch the voice recorder on, as shown on p. 12. Start recording by sliding the switch to the position.
FILE NAME FILE NAME The voice recorder has two file name formats: 1. Normal format: a «G_:» prefix and six decimal digits. Since the prefix is the same for all files, it won’t appear in the Next №: line. You can only select this format but you cannot change its value. Filenames are automatically formed by adding 1 to the digital part of every new filename.

RECORDING PARAMETERS ADJUSTMENT Exit the Record settings screen After checking the correctness of the other record setting to exit the Record settings screen, press the button. If the record settings have changed, the Save message will appear. With the button, select the necessary answer. Choose Yes to confirm changes.
TIMERS TIMERS The built-in timers of the voice recorder allow executing up to five recording sessions at the pre - set time. For each timer it is possible to set date and time of start, period of the repeated switching on in hours, priority and duration of the recording session.

TIMERS For confirmation of the choice press the button The Timers 1screen will appear on screen again. Under the Start time parameter will be shown the set date and time start for the selected timer. After setting of all the Timers 1parameters to exit the Timers 1 screen, press the button.
LOOP LOOP «Loop» recording mode is executed in the restricted (allocated by user) storage capacity. For application of this mode perform the following actions. Switch the voice recorder on as described on p. 12. Shortly push the button. The Settings screen will appear on screen with voice re- corder settings.

LOOP Exit the Loop screen To exit the Loop screen, press the button. If the «Loop» mode parameters have been changed, the Save message will ap- pear. With the button select the necessary answer. VOICE ACTIVITY VOICE ACTIVITY «Voice activity» mode is applied for automatic start (continuation) and stop (pause) of the re- cording depending on the level of signal at the corresponding voice recorder input. PIN CODE PIN CODE To protect voice recorder data from unauthorized use, main recorder’s functions (recorded data playback and deleting, modification of recording parameters) can be realized only after entering a personal identification number (PIN). Switching voice recorder on and off and recording are possible without PIN-code entering. PIN-code entering If protect with using of the PIN is on, when accessing to secure voice recorder function the PIN-code submenu will appear.

To connect the voice recorder to PC perform the following action. Connect the voice recorder to a PC USB-port via the PC connection USB-cable. After detecting new hardware the Update Driver Software wizard will start.

The program represents the executable file and does not require the installation. It may be lo- cated at any place of PC’s hard drive.

The receiver of files may check their authenticity with the public key. The program allows for export and import of private keys and public key export.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VOICE RECORDER MANAGER PUBLIC KEY EXPORT Public key is a single and universal key for all files recorded with this voice recorder model. This file is transferred to the data receiver and used to verify the authenticity of received data. To export public key, click the Export Public key button in the main window of the program.
WARRANTY WARRANTY The manufacturer guarantees that the issued device conforms to the technical requirements, whereby the user observes the conditions and regulations of operation, storage and transport. The warranty period is 36 months since the date of delivery. During the warranty period, the manufacturer repairs or replaces the spare parts free of charge, provided that the user has observed the proper use, storage and/or transportation of the device.
