This Manual describes the Seagate Technology, Inc. Hawk 2LP family Disc Drives. This high capacity, high performance member of the Seagate 1 inch high 3.5 inch rigid disc family is a next generation product from the ST31200 disc drive. Performance information is given in Section 5. The Hawk 2LP family model drives interface is defined for functional compatibility to be a subset of the Seagate SCSI Interface Manual 77738479, and the ANSI SCSI-2/SCSI-3 standards. -

During this time the drive responds to some commands over the SCSI interface* in less than 3 seconds. -
