EMERGENCY STARTING

If the battery is discharged, the starter
motor is inoperative, you can start the
engine manually using the
emergency starter rope supplied with
the motor.

Unlatch and remove the engine
cover.

Remove the flywheel cover by
unscrewing the four cover bolts.

Set the controls the same as for
normal starting (see pages
