Possible Causes
Plug on range is not
completely inserted in
the electrical outlet.
A fuse in your home may
be blown or the circuit
breaker tripped.
Oven controls improperly set.
Door left in the locked
position.
Rear drawer support is
on top of the guide rail.
Power cord may be
obstructing drawer
in the lower back
of the range.
Rear drawer support is

The oven temperature is
too high to set a self-clean

What To Do
• Make sure electrical plug is plugged into a live,
properly grounded outlet.
• Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker.

• If necessary, allow the oven to cool; then unlock
the door.
• Reposition the drawer. See the Storage Drawer

• Touch the Clear/Off pad. Open the windows to
rid the room of smoke. Wait until the light on the
Self Clean pad goes off. Wipe up the excess soil and
reset the clean cycle.
• Allow the oven to cool below locking temperature.
• Clean up heavy spillovers before starting the clean
cycle. Heavily soiled ovens may need to self-clean
again or for a longer period of time.
