® ™ Drive ® FireWire Accessory Quick Install... - Page 2 ™ Insert the IomegaWare software CD and install the software. The software will work with all Iomega FireWire ® and USB drives. ® ™ Macintosh users—Double-click on the IomegaWare installer icon. PC users—If the CD does not start automatically, double-click on the CD icon in My Computer, then double-click on the Setup.exe icon.
- Page 3 Connect the FireWire ® Accessory to the Zip ® ™ drive. ™ ® ™ NOTE: The FireWire Accessory locks onto the Zip connector. Always connect the Zip 250 FireWire Accessory before connecting the FireWire cable. ™ ™ To remove the FireWire Accessory, disconnect the FireWire cable first, then pull firmly.
- Page 4 ® Restart the system. Plug the FireWire cable into the computer. A “1394” logo* will identify the connector on your computer. The drive can be connected or disconnected to the computer while the computer is on. ® CAUTION! If you are connecting multiple FireWire devices view the User’s Manual HTML (see step 6 in this booklet) for important power information to prevent potential system or device damage.

Windows ® 98 SE users: If you see the dialog box “Please insert the disk labeled Windows 98 Second Edition CD-ROM.”...
