To troubleshoot the Line Out XLR jack on the MarkBass LITTLE MARK ROCKER 500 when sending output to a second guitar amp with an unbalanced input, follow these steps:

1. Check the Line Out Level – Adjust the LINE OUT level control on the front panel to ensure it is not too low or muted.

2. Set Pre/Post EQ Switch – The PRE/POST EQ switch on the rear panel determines whether the signal is affected by the amp’s EQ. Try both settings to see which works best.

3. Use a Proper Cable – The Line Out XLR is balanced, but the second amp has an unbalanced input (usually a 1/4” jack). Use an XLR to 1/4” TS adapter cable or a direct box to properly convert the signal.

4. Check the Ground Lift Switch – If you hear hum or noise, toggle the GROUND LIFT switch on the rear panel to reduce ground loop issues.

5. Verify the Second Amp Input – Ensure the second amp’s input is set to accept line-level signals, as some guitar amps expect instrument-level inputs.

6. Test with Another Device – Connect the Line Out XLR to a mixer or audio interface to confirm it is sending a signal. If no signal is present, the issue may be with the amp.

7. Inspect for Faulty Cables – Test with a different XLR cable and adapter to rule out cable issues.

If the problem persists, consult a technician or the manufacturer.
