Settings for the Reader and Annotator
You can customize the reader and annotator:
1. In the reader application, select the Edit icon.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select values for the margins and font used on the reader. The reader itself is described in
more detail under Reading Books.
4. Press the value you want to use for the default margins:
• Small
• Medium
• Large
• Extra large
5. Set the default font size to one of the following values:
• Smallest
• Small
• Medium
• Large
• Extra large
• Largest
6. Choose a startup tool:
• Pencil
• Paintbrush
7. Select or De-Select Quick Draw
• Quick Draw lets you draw faster with all colors of pencil. The screen will show all colors as Black, even if you
have chosen another color. When you refresh the screen, you can see the various shades of gray. The actual col-
ors are black, red, blue, yellow, or white.
8. Select Annotator Pencil Preferences:
• Color
• Thickness
• Mode
9. Select Paintbrush Preferences
• Color - black, red, blue, yellow, white
• Thickness - fine, medium, thick
• Mode - ruler, shape recognizer, none
• Opacity - in increments of tenths from 0.0 to 1.0
