    Connect the AC adaptor cable plug into the DC jack on the back of the system, then plug the AC adaptor into a working outlet. While connected to AC power, the iD28 will charge your docked iPhone, iPad or iPod as well as the internal lithium ion battery until fully charged.

    Launch the app and follow directions for updating the firmware for this unit if available. Docking your iPhone, iPad or iPod 1. Press on the iHome badge on the front of the unit to release the retracting dock (press in again for travel). 2. Carefully place your iPhone/iPad/iPod into the dock.

    • To wake to a custom playlist, you must first create a playlist in iTunes, name it “iHome” and import it into your iPhone/iPad/iPod. The playlist will wake you to random songs within the iHome playlist. 6. Press the Alarm Button (or no button within 10 seconds) to exit alarm setting mode.

    1. Gently dock an already playing iPhone, iPad or iPod. The unit will automatically turn on and you will hear the audio playing from your iPhone/iPad/iPod. Note: If the playing audio loudness is too low on the iPhone/iPad/iPod, the iD28 may not detect that the iPhone/iPad/iPod is in play mode. Press the Button to play it.

    Please make sure your iPhone/iPad/iPod is working properly before dock into the unit. Please refer to your iPod manual for detail. Using 3 generation iPod iD28 doesn’t support 3 generation iPod Remove your iPod/iPhone from the dock and check for obstruction iPhone/iPad/iPod is not docked properly on the connectors in the dock and on your iPod/iPhone.
