Using the Sync service

Use the Sync service to synchronize vCards and vCalendars with a remote
Bluetooth device.
There are two roles involved in synchronization: client and server. The client is the
device requesting or initiating the synchronization. The server is the device that the
client is synchronizing with.
The client can synchronize contacts, appointments, messages, and notes with the
server.
To configure the settings for the Sync service, click the Local Service tab in the Bluetooth
Devices dialog box, select Sync, and click Properties.
To use the Sync service:
1. In the Bluetooth Devices dialog
box, click the Sync tab. This page
displays the paired Bluetooth
devices that supports the Sync
service.
2. Right-click the Bluetooth device that
you want to synchronize with and
select Sync. The Bluetooth Vista
Suite starts to synchronize with the
remote Bluetooth device. When the
synchronization is completed, the
status shows Disconnected.
