Cover feed notifications

Check notifications such as a Facebook event invitation, a missed call, or a calendar
reminder right on the cover feed.

Chat heads

Each time you receive a new Facebook message or text message, a chat head pops
up on the cover feed or when you're using other apps. For details, see
messages on page 29.

Posting to Facebook from the app launcher

1. From the cover feed, press and hold your profile picture, and then drag it to

2. On the app launcher, you can directly update Facebook:
§ Tap to update your status.
§ Tap to take and share a photo.
§ Tap to check into a location.
3. Select who you want to share with.
4. Tap Post.
§ Double-tap a notification to open it.
§ To dismiss a notification on the list, drag it left or
right.
§ Tap chat heads to open or close the message.
§ Drag chat heads to move them anywhere on the
screen.
§ To dismiss chat heads, press and hold it, and then
drag it to .
§ If you've received several messages from different
contacts, switch between messages by tapping the
chat head and then tapping another sender's profile
picture.
