    Battery Installation • Make sure the speakers are turned off. • Open the battery door on the back of the speaker. • Insert 4 AA batteries as shown in image 2. • Make sure to replace the battery cover. Image 1 Image 2 bATTERy NOTICE • Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended. • Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries. • Do not use damaged batteries. • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. • Insert batteries with the correct polarity. • Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. • Do not dispose of batteries in fire. • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged by an adult or by children 8 years or older. • Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).

    AC Adaptor • Using a VTech adaptor (AC/DC 7.5 V) is recommended. ® • Make sure the tablet is turned off. • Plug the adaptor (sold separately) into the AC adaptor jack on the back of the InnoTab Stereo Speaker System ® • Plug the adaptor into a wall socket. NOTE: The use of an adaptor will override the batteries. When the toy is not going to be used for an extended period of time, unplug the adaptor.
