12. Enter a computer name, and an Administrator password twice, then click Next. This
password is used to administer User IDs and Windows security. Click Next. This
name is used by other computers on the network to access your computer.
13. Enter the correct Time Zone and Date and Time, then click Next.
14. At the "Network Settings" screen select "Typical Settings" and click Next.
15. At the "Workgroup or Computer Domain" screen, make the appropriate selection and
click Next.
16. Click Finish. The system will reboot.
17. At the "Welcome to the Network Identification Wizard" screen, click Next.
18. Give the appropriate choice on user logon, then click Next.
19. Click Finish to complete the Network Identification Wizard.
Windows 2000 retail or shelf version is not capable of running the newest hardware
contained within the HP Notebook. Upon completion of the Windows 2000 install you
will have many unidentified hardware items as listed below.
