To control what you share
You can control the information you want to share with your friends.
Touch icon
name, then Location history and Location settings are available, you
may touch Location settings to get the following options:
Location reporting
Enable location
history
Manage your
friends
Report from this
device
Enable location
sharing
Locate the friend's position on the map.
Get directions to this friend's location.
Send friends a notification and ask them to
check in.
Touch to set sharing options: Share best
available location; Share city-level location
only; Hide from this friend
Remove this friend from your list and stop
sharing information with him or her.
from Maps screen, then select Latitude, touch your own
Touch to detect/set your location, or stop
updating your location.
Hide/Unhide your location history.
Add or remove friends who can see your
location.
Activate/deactivate location reporting.
Activate/deactivate location sharing with your
friends.
