This appliance has a short cord to reduce the hazard resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used if you
are careful in its use.:
1. The electrical rating of the xtension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance.
2. An extension cord with the power cord must be arranged so that it will not drape
over the countertop or tabletop where they can be pulled on by children or
tripped over accidentally.
Your toaster is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug must fit into a polarized outlet only one
way. If plug does not fully fit into outlet, reverse the plug. if it still does not fit, con-
tact a qualified electrician. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DEFEAT THIS SAFETY FEATURE.

the versatility of toasting thin slices of bread to whole bagels. Bread-centering
guides adjust as the toasting lever is depressed to provide even toasting on both
sides of the bread, muffin or bagel. The toaster is designed to be cool touch and
has black side handles for mobility. An extra-lift feature allows the toast lever to be
moved upward after the toast has popped up to make it easy to remove small
pieces of bread, toast or pastry.
