An 802.11b-compatible network adapter has a maximum transmission speed of
11 Mbps. An 802.11g-compatible network adapter has a maximum transmission
speed of 54 Mbps. A network adapter that supports Super G has a maximum trans-
mission speed of 108 Mbps.

The default settings for the Gigaset SX763 WLAN dsl are:
– IP address: 192.168.2.1
– Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
– SSID: ConnectionPoint
– Radio channel: 6
Caution: By default there is no encryption active. Please be sure to make your network
secure. You will find information about this in the section entitled "Configuring wire-
less connections" on page 76.
