Shooting Movies

The camera will determine the subject and shooting conditions, and select the
best settings for the scene. The audio will record in stereo.
If you continue shooting for a long time, the camera may become warm. This
is not a malfunction.

Enter A mode and compose the
shot.
Follow Steps 1 – 3 on p. 26 to compose the
shot.
You can check the amount of time you can
shoot on the screen.
Shoot.
Touch

The display will switch to full-screen, and
the area displayed on the screen will be
recorded.
The camera will beep once, recording will
start, and [ Rec] and the elapsed time will
appear on the screen.
If you change the composition of your shot
during shooting, the focus, brightness and
tone will automatically adjust.
Do not touch the microphones while shooting.
It may be difficult to hear recorded sound
during playback if you cover the
microphones when shooting.
Do not operate the camera other than
touching
while shooting. Operation
sounds will be recorded in the movie.
Stop shooting.
Touch
.
The camera will beep twice and stop
shooting the movie.
Shooting will automatically stop when the
memory card fills.
