Adjust height such that seat belt passes
over wearer's shoulder and rests against
the shoulder. It must not pass over the neck
or upper arm.
Removing the belt
To remove seat belt, press red button on
buckle and seat belt will retract
automatically.

When not in use, pass seat belts through
side holders 3 as shown in Fig. 17063 T on
page 71.

The seat belt can only be pulled from the
inertia reel when the backrests are upright
and properly engaged – see page 71.

To prevent the seat belts from making
flapping noise when the sunroof and/or the
windows are open, the seat belts of
unoccupied rear seats can be secured
behind the armrest.
