Verano's standard Ecotec 2.4L direct-injected four-cylinder engine and six-speed
automatic powertrain combination also delivers refined, responsive performance. It is
rated at 180 horsepower (134 kW) and accelerates from 0-60 mph in 8.6 seconds, yet
still achieves an EPA-estimated 21 mpg city and 32 mpg on the highway.
Like its larger LaCrosse and Regal sedan siblings, Verano is distinguished by thoughtful
design, meticulous attention to detail, sculpted Buick brand cues; advanced interior
acoustics including Buick's trademark QuietTuning; and soft-touch interior surfaces with
world-class fit and finish.
Verano also provides a premium level of standard equipment for the segment – such as
an available heated steering wheel – not found on the Lexus IS 250, Acura ILX or Infiniti
G-Series sedan. Verano also has more passenger room than the Acura ILX and Lexus
IS 250.
