mode. Click the Edit/Performance Mode toggle
to switch between Performance and Edit modes
(see "Performance and Edit Modes" on page 13).

To import an audio file (mono, dual mono, or

stereo) into the Waveform display, do one of the
following:
• Drag an audio file from the Workspace to
the Waveform display.
– or –
• Use the Import button file to import an au-
dio file into the current preset, and click
the Import button. In the Open dialog,
navigate to and select one or more audio
files (loops) for import. Mono files are im-
ported as mono presets, and dual mono (.L
and .R files) and interleaved stereo files are
imported as stereo presets.
Shift-click to choose multiple contiguous
files. Control-click (Windows) or Com-
mand-click (Mac) to choose multiple non-
contiguous files.

The selected file is loaded into Synchronic and is
immediately stored with the current preset. The
waveform for the loaded file appears in the
Waveform display. When selecting more than
one loop, they are loaded into consecutive avail-
able presets.
