2. Roof installation 1. Thermal Switch Installation You can choose to run your Sunforce Solar Attic Vent with or without the included thermal switch. Thermal switch installed will do the following: Activate the fan at 75° F (24° C) +/- 3°... - Page 3 For optimal performance, the Sunforce Solar Attic Vent should be positioned facing south (in the northern hemisphere). Additionally, the solar attic vent should be positioned on an area of your roof not shaded or otherwise blocked from the sun for extended periods throughout the day. Examples of objects that may impede performance are trees and chimney stacks.
