INTRODUCTION

The DVR Xpander is the perfect companion for Dish Network

ViP622

DVR or ViP722 DVR, connecting to your Dish Network

DVR via your USB

2.0 connection. The DVR Xpander will also operate on any DVR with an

active eSATA port. Programs can be transferred from the internal hard

drive of the receiver to your DVR Xpander for storage or playback.

The DVR Xpander has an ultra-cool fan that keeps the enclosure at

the optimal temperature which will extend the life of your hard drive.

The sleek aluminum enclosure operates in horizontal and vertical

configurations. The whisper quiet SATA hard drive is designed to provide

enhanced reliability in high duty cycle environments. DVR Xpander

will support all the functions your dual tuner DVR offers, including

simultaneously recording two high definition channels while playing

one back.

Page 2 2. You will see a pop-up message asking if you want to reformat the drive. If you select Yes, anything stored on the DVR Xpander is erased. If you select No, you cannot transfer DISH Network content until you select Yes and the drive is reformatted.
