Use & Care
Before Your First Use
Wash your Wolfgang Puck Ovenware in warm water with mild dishwashing soap using a sponge, nylon pad or dishcloth.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Using your Wolfgang Puck Ovenware
Your Wolfgang Puck Ovenware is microwave, oven, refrigerator and freezer-safe.
Your ovenware can be used in ovens up to 500°F. Do not use on your stovetop or under a broiler.
Do not heat an empty vessel of ovenware in your microware or oven. This can cause it to crack or break.
Always allow ovenware to cool to room temperature before placing in your refrigerator, freezer or in cold water.
Conversely, always allow ovenware to reach room temperature before placing in your microwave, oven or in warm water.
Utensils
Use only silicone, nylon or wooden tools. Do not use sharp metal utensils as they can damage the glaze finish on
your ovenware.
Cleaning
Your ovenware is dishwasher safe, however hand washing is recommended. To clean, simply use warm water, a mild
dishwashing soap and a soft sponge or nylon pad. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
When cleaning your ovenware in the dishwasher, load carefully to avoid contact and knocking with other items during
the dishwashing cycle.
Always remove the silicon handles before cleaning by hand or in the dishwasher.
Removing Stains
To remove stubborn stains or stuck-on food, soak ovenware in hot soapy water and scrub with a plastic scoring pad
or nylon brush.
Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaning pads or harsh cleaners.
Removing the Silicon Handles
To remove the silicon handles from your ovenware, gently pull the bottom tab releasing the silicon pegs from the holes.
Slowly pull the top tab to remove the pegs from the ovenware handle.
To replace the silicon handles, insert the pegs through the holes in the ovenware handle. Align the pegs with the holes
in the bottom silicon tab and gently push the pegs through.
The silicon handles on your ovenware will get hot during oven and microwave use. Always utilize an oven mitt or
pot holder.
Wolfgang Puck, owner of the famous Spago restaurants and one of the most
influential chef-restauranteurs in America, is credited with reviving California's
rich culinary heritage. His cooking innovations, a result of blending fresh
California ingredients with his classical French techniques, are enjoyed by world
leaders, stars and fellow chefs alike. He established other trend-setting restaurants
like Postrio in San Francisco, Chinois on Main in Santa Monica, Trattoria
del Lupo, and his latest creation, Cut, a gourmet steakhouse in the Beverly
Wilshire Hotel. Home chefs can also share Mr. Puck's talents through
his cookbooks and, of course, through his cookware!
Insulated Carrying Case
Your Wolfgang Puck Carrying Case is heat resistant up to 300°F. When cooking with high temperatures, always allow
the ovenware vessel to slightly cool before placing it in the carrying case. Never transfer ovenware directly from the
oven to the case.
Your carrying case is hand wash only. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth or sponge. Hang to dry. Do not place in the
dishwasher or use harsh chemicals such as bleach.
To prevent mildew, always make sure the carrying case is completely dry before storing.
Helpful Hints
You Wolfgang Puck Ovenware is made of fine porcelain which effectively retains hot and cold temperatures. Food not
heated or chilled in the ovenware may not maintain the appropriate temperature.
The insulated bag helps maintain food temperature for an extended period of time; however it will not prevent food
from spoiling.
Your Wolfgang Puck Ovenware is specially designed to fit the carry case it comes with. We do not recommend
transporting other cooking vessels in the case.
Warning
DO NOT subject ovenware to extreme temperature changes, as this can cause it to crack or break.
DO NOT use ovenware on your stovetop or in ovens above 500°F.
Your Wolfgang Puck Insulated Carrying Case is NOT microwave, oven or dishwasher safe.
ALWAYS use an oven mitt or pot holder when handling hot ovenware.
The cover MUST be used on your ovenware when transporting in the carrying case.
