PLEASE READ ALL THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE
• Check that your mains voltage corresponds with that stated on your appliance.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use. Keep out of the reach of children.
• Never move the appliance, cooking stone or the fondue pot when hot.
• Do not use the fondue pot with the dust cover on. This is for storage only.
• Always use the plastic carrying handles when the product has cooled down after use;
do not touch the hot parts of the appliance.
• Check the cord periodically for damage. Do not use if the cord is damaged in any way.
• Replacement cords must only be fitted by a qualified electrician (*).
• Do not move the appliance by pulling the cord.
• Do not wind the cord round the appliance or bend it. Make sure that the cord is not caught in
any way. Do not allow the cord to touch the hot parts of the appliance and that nothing comes
into contact with the heating element.
• Do not use near hot surfaces.
• Never use the appliance outdoors. Always keep it in a dry environment.
• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid. Do not place in the dishwasher.
• Stand the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
• Do not allow near inflammable materials, such as curtains, when in use.
It is recommended that the appliance be placed on a heat resistant mat when in use.
• Take care not to overheat fat and oil, as these may catch fire.
• Always use in a well-ventilated area.
• Only cook fresh food.
• Use wooden or heat resistant plastic utensils to avoid scratching the non stick coating
on thegrill plate and Raclettepans.
• Unplug the appliance when not in use.
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Make sure that the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing.
• It is essential to keep the appliance clean as it comes into contact with food.
• Never use accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
• A qualified service centre should do all repairs.
