APPLICATION INFORMATION:
The PS-4CA is designed to plug into the POWERPATH power booster providing the capability for four (4) CLASS "A" Notification
Appliance Circuits (NAC). Each of the four (4) NAC's has the capability of handling up to 3Amps of current. The total for all of the
NAC's is not to exceed the total current capacity of the POWERPATH power booster.
MATERIALS:
The following items should be included this box:
One set of installation instructions (this is the installation instructions)
One - PS-4CA PC board
Two - female to male, 6-32 x 9/16" long, Teflon standoffs
Two - Screws 6-32, 1/4" long
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1: On the POWERPATH power booster, verify that AC power is OFF and Battery power is disconnected.
STEP 2: On the POWERPATH power booster PC board, the CLASS A/B wiring switch (SW9), should be set to the
"OFF" or CLASS "B" position.
STEP 3: Install the two (2) 6-32 x 9/16" Teflon standoffs, screwing the male end through the POWERPATH power
booster in the lower right portion of the PC board.
STEP 4: Align the four (4) connectors on the PS-4CA PC board with the four (4) connectors on the POWERPATH
power booster PC board.
STEP 5: Firmly press the PS-4CA PC board connectors into the proper connections on the POWERPATH power
booster until the bottom of the PS-4CA rests on the two (2) Teflon standoffs.
STEP 6: Screw the two (2) mounting screws through the mounting holes in the PS-4CA PC board. See figure 1
STEP 7: Refer to the POWERPATH power booster installation instructions to complete wiring and final check out.
