To connect a component video source (eg satellite receiver)
COMPONENT YPrPb/YCrCb
You can connect a component source to the YPrPb/RGBs inputs.
• Connect an RGBs source to the Cr/Pr/R, Y/Gs, and Cb/Pb/B inputs respectively.
• Connect a YPrPb source to the Y/Gs, Cr/Pr/R, and Cb/Pb/B inputs respectively.
• Connect a YCrCb source to the Y/Gs, Cr/Pr/R, Cb/Pb/B inputs respectively.
The DVP1080HD will automatically detect the type of the component input. Supported
video rates for processing are 480i/480p, 576i/576p, 720p, and 1080i at 50Hz or 60Hz.
(VESA 640x480 not supported).
When using RGBs, be sure to check settings for this input in the SETUP menu. See
Configuring the digital video processor , page 17 for details.
To select an RGB source
• Press RGB on the remote control.
To select a YCrCb source
• Press YCrCb on the remote control.

To connect an S-Video source (eg DVD player)

S-VIDEO OUT
DVP1080HD Digital Video processor
You can connect a video game, satellite receiver, or DVD player to the S-Video inputs if
component or DVI outputs are not available.
• Connect the S-VIDEO output from the source to the S-VIDEO analogue input on the
DVP1080HD.
To select the source
• Press S-Video on the remote control.
